Animals have always been a constant in my life. When I was fourteen, I began volunteering with my close friends at The Nature Center in my hometown of Connecticut, where we learned and helped care for injured wildlife — from raptors and reptiles to raccoons and more. Some of my fondest childhood memories were shaped during this time.

While I was in high school, I worked at a family veterinary clinic and at a horse barn, where I trained and continued to deepen my bond with horses.

My connection with horses began even earlier, at the age of ten. Being with them every day became my sanctuary. Their presence carried me through some of the most challenging times in my life, offering comfort, strength, and companionship when I needed it most.

While I studied art in school and moved throughout the country, I continued nurturing my education and connection with animals — working with six different horse barns across a variety of disciplines while gaining knowledge whenever I could.  I always hoped to find a way to give back to horses and other animals in the same profound way they had given to me.

That path began when I was first introduced to Equine Craniosacral Therapy while working at a horse rescue in Colorado. I was deeply moved by the horses’ responses and the powerful connection I felt during the clinic. Shortly after, I enrolled in the program.

I’ve always felt  honored to have had these horses as my teachers. Despite all they had endured, they guided me with their wisdom, resilience, and sensitivity — gifts I carry with me into every session.

After returning to Maine, I continued my Education Through an Equine Sports Massage Program.

Both trainings were invaluable, yet I was still searching for something deeper -

a modality that could support animals like my horse, Benny whose health had been profoundly affected by trauma and pain.

It was during my training in Animal Reiki that I experienced the most extraordinary transformations.

The sense of relief and peace the animals found was unlike anything I had ever witnessed. From that moment on, I became a true believer in the power of energy work to support healing, balance, and connection.

Energy work is a lifelong journey, and I continue to deepen my practice by studying Acupressure and Acutonics for animals. Today, it is my greatest joy to hold space for animals—honoring their unique paths and offering them the same unconditional love and support they have always so freely given to us.

I am forever grateful for all my animal and human teachers who have been my guides all these years.

I happily live in Damariscotta, Maine with my sweet dog, Brownie and darling ferret, Alma.
